   BACKYARD TO DRAWING ROOM
Is these  look nice?

Same object looks like a horse at one side and zebra the other side. This is self made and hence some perfection may be lacking. But I am so happy because I had made our two year collection of used cloths in to make this fig. “Waste cloths which were washed and dried were used to create this. What you need is a little creativity and some patience. Of course you should have a lot used cloths. In the above creation, the outer layer is my used colour faded shirt. White colored cloth is preferable. Now the final fig is in my drawing room. Used clothes from backyard to finished fig to the drawing room!

How to make this?

The front side of my shirt is stitched. Head and body of a small horse are drawn on the shirt. Draw a parallel line around the horse at a distance of about 12 to 15 cm away. Cut the shirt along the second line. Stitch along the sides leaving the hind side of the horse. Use the remaining pieces to make legs, tail and ears. Here too one side should be kept unstitched

Now keep the stitched items , inside out- that is stitched markings should be in side.
Stuff the used cloth pieces inside the body, legs, ears and tail tightly and fully through the unstitched portions. A rod / stick may be used to stuff it tightly. Tight packing will give more stiffness. Then hand stitch the legs, tail and ears in to the main body appropriately. To bend the legs, if necessary, bend the leg and hand stitch that side alone.

Now draw the eyes /strips with appropriate colours. One side zebra lines and the other side plain. Now horse and zebra are ready in one piece.
You may use your skill to make any items like this.
Your used /torn cloths are now becomes beautiful toys.(ensure that the cloths are washed and dried)
Waste not the waste. Use your creative ideas to convert the “waste items” in to useful items.

TRY. You have creative ideas. Use it.
